How to Enter
We offer two simple ways to enter. You may enter online by filling out our online entry form and paying entry fees securely from within the website. Or you may print out an entry form, fill it out by hand mail it in with your entry fee and entry. You may also upload your entries.
If you are
entering a work in more than one category, only one tape/disk is
required. An entry fee for each category is required. Entries cannot be returned. Only one entry per tape or
disk. If you have more than one entry, each entry must be submitted
on a separate tape or disc. The exception to this is an entry for a
campaign in which case a group of commercials or PSAs should be
submitted on the same tape or disc. Mail the entry to:

Tape Formats
Acceptable tape formats (NTSC) are Mini DV, DVcam, HDV, Betacam SP, and
VHS.
Acceptable disk formats are DVD Video, Blu-ray Disc, AVI, Windows Media, Quicktime (DV, PNG,
H.264 or Motion JPEG compression), or MPEG.
No slates or color bars please.
Upload Formats
You may now upload
your entry electronically. Acceptable formats are Quicktime (DV, PNG, H.264 or
Motion JPEG compression), or Windows Media. Files uploaded are
limited to a file size of 2GB.
Entry Fee
Entry fee is $39.50 (U.S. Dollars) per entry. Make check payable to DV Awards and it must accompany the entry. Videos entered in
multiple categories require an entry fee for each category. You may
charge entry fees to a credit card, please fill out all applicable
information on the form.
Deadline
The deadline for the Fall 2010 session is November 1, 2010.
Entries must be postmarked by that date. A late entry period
will exist until November 15, 2010. Late entries must include a $20 late
fee per entry and MUST be RECEIVED by November 15, 2010. Entries not meeting these requirements will be
held over until the next competition.
