When is the deadline?
Entries for the Spring 2013 session must be postmarked by May 1,
2013.
What if I need more time?
The DV Awards recognizes the hectic pace in which we often live. To
accommodate this, a late entry period will exist until May 15, 2013. Late entries must include a $20 late fee per entry and MUST be
RECEIVED by May 15, 2013. Entries not meeting these
requirements will be held over until the next competition.
How often do you have a competition?
The DV Awards are held twice annually in the spring and fall.
Can I upload my entry or send you a link?
Yes! Click the
'Enter Now' button and follow the link to upload your files. 2GB file size
limit. Or you may include a link to your video that is posted on Youtube or Vimeo. Make sure the link is functional!
When will I know if I've won?
All entrants will be notified of their status approximately 4-6
weeks after the final deadline.
How long does it take to receive the award?
Please allow 4-6 weeks after we receive your inscription information
to receive your award.
My video was not shot on a digital format. Am I still eligible?
Absolutely! Even though some productions are not shot on a digital
format, they are heavily influenced by the digital world
when they enter post production. The DV awards were designed to
honor all productions touched by the digital realm, those shot
digitally as well as those just manipulated digitally.
How much is the entry fee?
The entry fee is $45.00 (U.S. Dollars) payable by check, money order, or
credit card.
I'm a student or non-profit organization. Can you waive the entry fee?
Out of
fairness to all entrants, we cannot waive entry fees for any reason.
What is the acceptance fee?
To help keep the entry fees more affordable, an acceptance fee is
collected for those winners choosing to receive the award. The fee
is $115 plus shipping and handling. Winners are not obligated to
accept the award and will still receive a certificate.
If I win, can I choose what the inscription will say?
Yes. Winners will be sent a form to fill out for the custom
inscription.
Can I get extra statues or certificates?
Of course. Share some of the glory with those who helped make it
happen by rewarding team members and clients with copies of the
award. Additional trophies are $115 plus shipping & handling.
Additional certificates are $15 plus shipping & handling.
Awards and certificates can also be customized with different
inscriptions.
